  • Bed bugs are bloodsucking hitchhikers that can be found in any indoor space but are most commonly found in bedrooms or living rooms any time of year.
  • Before any bed bug treatment can be performed an inspection needs to be done to determine the extent of the problem.
    * If you rent or lease please reach out to your landlord for assistance. Verbal or written permission needs to be given before Critter Ridders can do an inspection or service
  • Standard pricing is $95+tax for the inspection.
    * If you select Critter Ridders for the treatment, the $95 inspection fee will be deducted from the cost of the service

* If you have bed bugs DO NOT throw away your furniture!!!

During the inspection our Technician will assess the problem and give a quote on how much it would cost to do a heat or conventional treatment. We are unable to give quotes over the phone as every infestation is different. In most situations we are unable to do the treatment on the same day. Preparations for heat or dust/spray treatments are different. This prep work needs to be done to make the treatment effective.

Critter Ridders will advise you on how to prepare for service before treatment is scheduled.

How do I know if I have a bed bug problem?

  • sightings of live or dead bed bugs
  • visible signs of their feces (dark brown to black marker dots/ink)
  • blood stains on pillows or mattress (caused by crushed bed bugs)
  • shedded skin (exoskeleton of growing nymphs)
  • clusters of eggs (pearl-white the size of a pinpoint)
  • a “sickening sweet” smell from the glands of their body
  • itchy bites on your skin
    • *Everyone reacts differently to bites, please consult with your doctor before assuming the bites are from bed bugs

GOT BED BUGS? WE BRING THE HEAT!

ONE TREATMENT- PROBLEM SOLVED

Bed Bug Remediation

Critter Ridders uses state-of-the-art Thermal Remediation® electric bed bug heat treatment equipment by TEMP-AIR, Inc.. This is an effective solution designed specifically for use in homes, apartment complexes, hotels, universities, and more. Before any bed bug treatment is done an inspection needs to be done to determine the extent of the problem.

* Please note all people and pets must be out of the area being treated for 10 hours

Details about our Thermal Remediation Bed Bug Service:

  • The Kill Zone

The Thermal Remediation® target temperature during treatment is between 122-135°F. This temperature is necessary for heat to penetrate bed bug harborages. This safe, effective process uses dry heat to kill the entire life cycle of bed bugs.

  • The Process:

  • 1. Electric heaters are placed within the spaces being affected- introducing heated air with a target temperature not to exceed 135°F.
  • 2. Temperatures are monitored in real-time from a remote location using wireless sensors to ensure lethal temperatures are reached without damaging the space and its contents.
  • 3. High temperature fans circulate the heated air throughout the space-reaching these pests in all cracks & crevices and high infestation zones.

For most effective treatment, all personal belongings must remain in the space. TV’s, gaming consoles, and other electronics will not be harmed by the treatment. BUT MUST BE UNPLUGGED!

* Conventional (insecticide) treatments also available.

CONVENTIONAL TREATMENT TO CONQUER ANY SIZE INFESTATION

Critter Ridders can help eliminate these bloodsucking parasites from your home, apartment complexes, hotels, universities, and more. No infestation is too large for Critter Ridders to tackle. Our team of highly-trained professionals will work with you to eliminate the problem quickly, accurately, and efficiently. Before any bed bug treatment is done an inspection needs to be done to determine the extent of the problem.

* Please note all people and pets must be out of the area being treated for 2 hours after pesticide application

Details about Conventional (insecticide) Bed Bug Service:

  • Our technicians use a dusting and/or spraying method to treat areas such as mattresses/box springs, bedframes, nightstands, dressers, baseboards, cracks & crevices, couches, chairs, any other furniture, and any other problem areas.
  • After service DO NOT clean up the material used right away. The longer the material remains the more effective it will be.
  • Critter Ridders recommends installing mattress and box spring covers prior to our service. Covers are available in store for an additional cost.
  • Prep work such as cleaning and washing/drying of clothes & bedding will need to be done by the customer before service can be done. For the treatment to be effective, these items need to remain in sealed bags or totes until treatment is complete.

* Heat treatments also available.
