• Critter Ridders will only remove nests if they are completely dead. If the nest is active then we can treat the active wasp, yellow jacket, or hornet’s nest. Generally, we can remove 99% of visible nests.
  • Dead nest removal may be requested at any time, but will only be completed during the following dates:

    • March 15th-April 15th
    • June 15th-August 15th
    • October 15th-November 15th
  • Dead nest removal minimum price is $125+tax
  • Nest removal pricing can vary significantly based on several factors:

    • Number & size of nest(s)
    • Difficulty to access (Location and/or height of the nest(s), OR if in an attic or crawl space)
    • Time taken and equipment used to remove the nest(s)
    • Customer expectations
    * Texting or emailing us pictures can be helpful in getting an accurate price before we come out. We DO NOT open walls, ceilings, soffits, or other enclosed spaces.

Details about our Dead Nest Removal Service:

  • Critter Ridders is able to remove dead wasp, yellow jacket, or hornets nests.

    • We DO NOT remove the honeycomb built by honeybees.
    • We DO NOT dig up and/or remove dead ground or digger bees’ nests.
  • If the dead nest is on vinyl, our Technicians will use a mud knife and/or scraper to remove the nest. Soapy water will then be used to remove the remaining paper pulp to the extent possible and/or practical. Consult with the Technician at the time of service to explain your expectations and understand what the Technician thinks is achievable.
    * Most nests are made of paper pulp-chewed wood combined with saliva
  • If the nest is on wood or composite material, our Technicians will use a mud knife and/or scraper to remove the nest to the extent possible/and or practical to prepare the area to be painted.
